The Magnetic pole is off center, and perhaps does not spin? http://deeptow.whoi.edu/southpole.html The pole has 20 degrees room at north and south for a 40 degree tolerance. How about the rotation? It must be in opposition or something right? North Geomagnetic and North Magnetic poles are different.
